1,000 sq. ft. Interior remodel of existing multi-story craftsman style hillside residence in Santa Ana with a great views of the valley below. The remodel starts at the main entrance, with a new foyer and redesigned stairs. Above, a finished attic space is transformed into the primary bedroom suite complete with a new balcony, a large dormer is added over the sleeping area of the bedroom to high vaulted ceilings and allow for a large bi-fold door that opens up to the deck. A new entertainment space is designed in the uppermost part of the residence to create a unique feature for the house. The entertainment space is designed as a speakeasy lounge reminiscent of the Polo Bar in New York, a dormer is added to provide high ceiling and new large windows allow for lots of natural light and great views out towards the natural landscape of Loma Ridge and Santiago Canyon. The speakeasy lounge is the perfect place to take in the views while enjoying drinks with friends.
