Plan Check - Once the Architectural & Consultant sets are completed, they are submitted to governing agencies (Building & Safety or Public Works). Agency Clearances are dealt with once they are assigned upon completion of the first plan check review. All plan check and permit related fees will be forwarded to the client. This process typically takes 2-3 submittals before final approval and Ready to Issue (RTI).
Express permits - Express permits are for projects where work does not require any type of plan check. These types of permits are based on the governing city or county
Project Rep for permit expediting - We obtain RTI or Express Permit approvals from the required agencies on behalf of Contractor / Owner.
Agent for Owner - When we act as an agent for a homeowner, we need the following:
Must be notarized with a copy of the owner's driver's license or identification to verify the signature.
If the owner is a Corporate or LLC, you need a letter of authorization and copy of the Operating Agreement or Articles of Incorporation showing the signer of the letter as one of the owners or officers of the company.
Agent for Contractor - When we act as an agent for contractor, we need the following:
Copy of certificate of workers’ compensation insurance made out to the contractor’s state license board.
Copy of your City business tax registration certificate
Notarized letters of authorization for your agents - see link below
Copy of your contractor’s license ID.
Solid Waste Hauler Permit Information - as required.
